Artist Talks and Studio Tours.

Last week, we gave our presentations to share our individual art practices. It was inspiring to hear about each of our concerns, themes and processes. Through connectivity, artistic immersion and critical discourse, we can broaden our notions of contemporary art.

We also had an opportunity to visit each others studios. Seven artists from different countries with different disciplines. There are not enough hours in the day to have all the conversations we want to have!

So, we will continue into the evenings.......

Preparing for my presentation

I chose a different studio this year. Just wanted to shake things up a bit.

Berenika presenting her work at Kinuya. It is the oldest of all the studio buildings. We all think it's haunted.

Dear Margaret in her studio.

This is what we do at the end of each day. Art talk and beer.

The gentleman in the front, Edmundo Fernandez, creates large scale drawings of the human body. His work is powerful in concept and image. You can find him on FB.
